The cost to top up this product was astronomical, and we sought alternative options A site inspection with Slique Horse Arenas’ owner, Grant Maidment, yielded a recommendation that 30% Coconut Fibre mixed into the surface would restore the arena to its previous glory, and it was at a much more favourable cost. They were very professional and swiftly completed the installation with minimal disruption to our business. We are very happy with the result as the surface stays loose and soft and the horses are confident working on it. A big thank you to Grant and his efficient team for levelling out and adding fibre to my arena which desperately needed some TLC and attention. Over time the river sand had shifted to create an unlevel and uneven surface that was difficult to maintain. Slique Horse Arenas stepped in to make it a superior and horse-friendly surface – not only level all around, but the addition of the coconut fibre has made the footing much more consistent, leading to a far better training experience for the horses. Slique Horse Arenas, owned by Grant Maidment, quoted us to build a 30x60m showjumping arena at the end of 2016. He informed us construction would begin in February 2017 and finish towards the end of March 2017. Grant stood true to his word and started and completed the project on time. He was on site 90% of the time and personally prepared and levelled the site with a TLB and Bobcat. We have had some hard rain in the arena since completion and have noticed that it drains well and has shown no signs of settling (it was built on a gradual slope). I am very happy that we contracted Grant to do this project for us and would highly recommend him for similar projects
